Senior Project Coordinator - Remote Client Services (2003- 2010)
Coordinated the assignment of software projects for the Remote Client
Services project area. Assigned software projects to eight local and
remote project specialists, and technical support engineers for North
America.
. Planned and implemented the distribution of large scale PC software
project roll-outs to 6,000 local and remote customers in multiple sites
in North America. Developed project schedules, budgets, and timelines to
ensure successful software roll-outs. Coordinated programming, user
acceptance testing and software release schedules with customers, local
and global teams following GXP standards.
. Monitored the North American client services process by consolidating all
the project status data on a weekly basis. Analyzed projects for
recurring patterns of delay and provided solutions to staff. Provided
weekly software project status reports and status meetings to update
management and customers.
. Led project to integrate North American subsidiaries into Remote Client
Services global support model for project monitoring and technical
support. The successful consolidation of service provision from local to
regional resulted in improved service quality, reduction of headcount at
the local level and a savings of $750,000 annually.

Supervised a team of five programmers, technical support personnel and
software distribution specialists to ensure accurate testing, programming
and timely delivery of software packages to over 5,000 local customers at
the US headquarters.
. Participated in global project for the planning, development and
implementation, of a new global software distribution system and client
desktop standard. Supported the roll-out effort at US headquarters by
developing the documentation, budget and the local customer
communications for the implementation. Assumed packaging manager role at
end of project.
. Member of project team to implement SMS software distribution system at
the US Headquarters site which included the staffing of a support
organization, budget creation, and the development of service level
agreements with local business areas.
. Project manager for the roll-out of Windows NT for Research at US
headquarters which included the development of the project budget;
software packaging procedures; system build procedures; project
scheduling; and management of an contracted vendor staff of five.
. Assisted in the creation of an RFP for the outsourcing of the local
Helpdesk, Desk side, Break fix, Software/Hardware acquisition and
maintenance services for all computer users at the US Headquarters.
Analyzed all proposals received, made recommendations to choose a vendor
and implemented transition. Reduced existing computer costs by 30% and
increased service levels by 50%.
. Implemented a Lotus Notes infrastructure including set-up of: Notes
servers, user's accounts, replication with outside vendors, and
installation of Notes applications developed by programming staff.
