largest hospice provider in the U.S. This was done through creating
new accounts and maintaining existing relationships throughout the
territory. The target audiences are physicians, skilled nursing
facilities, nursing agencies, and assisted livings.
Increased census by 80% in the agency in a six month period.
To date created thirteen new referral sources for the agency.
Developed a structured and focused marketing plan that uncovered
referral sources new to the agency.
BROAD MOUNTAIN NURSING AND REHABILITION CENTER (EXTENDICARE) 2009-2010
Referral Manager-Frackville,PA
Increased and maintained average daily census in one of the region's
premier nursing and rehabilitation facility. This was done through
detailed sales and marketing plan that focused on hospital case
managers, physicians, and community related activities. Increased
average daily from 94% to 97% occupancy in the facility throughout the
second half of 2009.
Received several customer services recognition awards.
Increased the building revenue by focusing on Medicare admissions.
Identified new sources of referrals for the facility, and converted
them into admissions.

based on market growth during this period.
The above results were achieved with the challenge of managed care
access being limited. The challenges were overcome by maximizing
sales results in plans where access was available. As a result,
successful results were achieved throughout my tenure.
