( Prosecuted cases in every phase of litigation on behalf of the People of

the State of New York in County Court and Justice Courts throughout

Dutchess County. Duties included investigation, negotiation of

dispositions, discovery and motion practice, presenting cases to both petit

and Grand Juries as well as judges in Dutchess County at preliminary

hearings, pre-trial hearings, and trials with up to nineteen court

appearances per month. Selected by District Attorney William V. Grady in

January 2001 to be A.D.A. in charge of City of Beacon Drug Treatment Court

establishing an alternative approach to prosecuting individuals charged

with drug-related offenses.

Received extensive litigation training at both National College of District

Attorneys in Columbia, South Carolina and New York County District

Attorney's Office successfully completing both intensive programs.
