Transition Inc. is an non-for-profit organization operating a Youth
Opportunity Center providing job training and placement services to
out-of-school youth, ages 16-21, who are either at-risk of becoming
involved with the criminal justice system or who have records of
criminal convictions. The end result of my interest and partnership
with this agency is a significant positive impact on the numbers of
young people achieving economic self-sufficiency, in spite of failing
to complete a secondary educational program.
