Project 2: Migracion De IRIS Client: Vodafone Spain

Vodafone Spain had introduced an online web portal called IRIS to handle

the functionalities for bundled offers and prepaid offers. Vodafone needed

a more efficient infrastructure with support for real-time data warehousing

for reporting, analytics and data mining. The project was rolled out in

several phases including upgrades from Oracle 9i to Oracle 10g, replacing

home-grown scripts and batch processes for added reliability and

efficiencies and creating the new data warehouse.

cases.
