Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM), Federal Aviation Administration, Office

of Aircraft Services (Federal)

* Review ongoing Government and University contracts, schedule f lights, order equipment, update the

book keeping and monitor sales.

* Assisted with engine overhauling and aircraft maintenance.

*Run Av-Gas and (5000 gal.)Jet fueler and refuel aircraft

*Received my sign off with the FAA to pursue my AP License.

*Established the company as a 135 Air Carrier

*Coordinated class t raining for 135 Air Car rier pilot t raining

*We worked closely with Dade County Aviation and the FAA to market and stage a two day Fly-In and

a lso a two day Air Show. I was responsible for raising over $90,000 in advertising and sponsorships to off

set the cost of the Air Show.

*Operated our secondary site at the Homestead Air Reserve Base location, accommodated the Indy, Bush

and Nascar races. We parked, fueled and handled rental cars and catering for all aircraft. We would

p rocess up to over 200 aircraft in a one week time period.

After 9/11 we lost the secondary site, which severely affected the business and general aviation. The

business closed a few years later.

I left Area Tropical Fish Farms to work for H i l ls Pet Products; however I was asked to come back

a nd run the farm, which I did.

* I assisted in the building of AREA Tropical Fish Farm in the Redlands.

* Drove Bobcat to remove dir t from around the pond’s, mixed and poured concrete and laid out piping and

helped to install pumps

*Ran the sales program of marketing the fish to numerous wholesalers throughout the United States. I

a lso handled all orders and made freight arrangements.

* Help to layout the water system and aeration system for the entire farm. This included 40 vats, 500 egg

layer aquariums in the hatchery and 38 ponds. I was responsible for the breeding program and

maintaining the water quality of the vats, ponds and aquariums. I was responsible for establishing an

i mport program, for the grow out of certain species. Raised and bred up 52 different species of fish.

M aintained the health care of the farm and t reated aquatic animals for fungus, parasites and bacterial

i nfections. Ran the sales program and bagged and shipped all orders and made freight arrangements.

* At tended numerous t rade shows and sold aeration systems.
