? Sourced exotic services including Cryogenic Tempering (Super Freezing)
and ION Beam Surface Hardening. Introduced these services to Atlas'
product line thereby increasing value and performance.
? Developed strategic partnerships with several heavy machinery
manufacturers, including one in France. Made numerous trips to Paris to
participate in joint product development and marketing efforts.
? At Wieland Designs, successfully managed twelve concurrent multi-year
seating programs for United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue
and Mesa - from product inception through fleet configuration and
installation. Over a four year period, my sales increased from $2.9 to
$7.5 million dollars
? Conceived and led a successful strategy to outsource over one hundred
styles of furniture from several companies in North Carolina, based on

? In seven years with Wieland Designs, I progressed through three
different managerial positions
with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability at each
level.
? Supplier Manager Primary duties consisting of locating and
qualifying vendors, negotiating
optimum pricing and establishing long term supplier partnerships.
Organized the purchase of large commodity groups and developed local
sources. Worked with the corporate buyers group, overseeing their day
to day purchasing activities.
? Program Manager (Airline Seating) Included product development and
program timeline management. Responsible for the development of
million dollar bid proposals, high margin pricing structures and multi-
year purchase agreements. Directed Marketing Functions including
coordination of booth design and logistics for annual trade shows in
Hamburg.

? Organized and managed Atlas' first Engineering department. Hired
and trained a staff charged with technical support for an increasingly
complex product line.
? Lead designer of custom dies and accessories. Designed, sourced and
purchased a variety of specialty components from domestic and
international vendors.
? Developed skills at designing a wide variety of folding cartons for
the packaging industry. One of my US Patents is for a carton design
that I created.
? Developed procedures for incoming materials inspections as well as
overall product quality standards. Author of Atlas' first Quality
Manual.
