Assistant Process Engineer
Indian Petrochemicals Limited, Baroda, Gujarat, India (Aug. 2005 -
July 2007)
. Theoretical calculations for the refinery like Energy Balance Across
the sections for Column, power requirement for pumping liquid, Dew
point calculation, calculations of Lab Properties using and matching
with Lab results, Material balance in vacuum column.
. Working as a team member to develop Simulations on HYSYS which
improved trouble shooting in major process upsets, emergencies and
process modifications.
. Reviewed and updated Process Flow Diagram (PFD) & Piping and
Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and equipment sizing and specification
under the supervision of lead engineer.
. Performed economic line sizing and performed Hydraulic calculations
for equipments like pump and compressor per company standard design

watched their performances on the strip charts for different values of
Kc and Ti.
. Developed PFD for "Ethanol plant production" along with dynamic
simulation calculation using dynamic tool assistant in HYSYS, also
installed PID temperature and flow controllers in the PFD

equipments
. Completed design project "Production of Dichlorosilen", mass and Energy
