EXPERIENCE: Over forty years of experience in engineering design for
various industrial interests, with extensive field experience. Experience
includes design and drafting of a wide variety of large steel and
reinforced concrete structures, foundations, pipe supports, trenches, and
containment areas. Most jobs have been schedule driven and require the
ability to find areas where cost savings can occur. I have always been very
pro-active in these areas. Civil work has included roadwork, cut and fill
calculations, profiles, and cross sections.
INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE: Chemical plants, Pulp and paper mills,
pharmaceutical plants, fiber textile mills, fossil fuel power plants,
nuclear plants (DOE), oil refineries, petro-chemical plants, mine and ore
processing, phosphate and fertilizer plants, and food processing plants.
COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE: Structural systems for high-rise buildings, NASA
structural ground support structures, nursing homes, apartment complexes,
sub-divisions and shopping centers.
CADD EXPERIENCE: Microstation (22 years), Eagle Point 3-D Civil Software,
Intergraph Frameworks Plus (PDS), Smart Plant Review & Autocad 2005.
Earned Frameworks Plus Certification from Intergraph in May, 2007
MAJOR ENGINEERING COMPANIES: Jacobs, Fluor, Lockwood Greene, Raytheon,
Rust (Washington Group), Bechtel, Shaw Group
