Managed all of the agencies general creative. Developed strategic, as well

as creative direction for a variety of clients including Service

Merchandise, Coolsavings.com and Racing Champions Sports Collectibles.

OGILVY & MATHER-August 1988 to August 1998

VP, Associate Creative Director/Writer-Responsibilities included:

Managing Sears Home Improvement campaign featuring Bob Vila; built the most

successful paint campaign in the history of Easy Living and Weatherbeater

paints; Managed all aspects and teams for Eagle Foods-chain of Midwestern

grocers; Won and built the Borders Books & Music business.

Senior Copywriter-August 1988 to June 1992

Responsibilities included:

Development of Bob Vila as the Craftsman Spokesman; Create long-standing

campaign for Craftsman elevating the brand to the second most recognized

brand in America; Created the strongest DieHard campaign in the history of

the brand; Handle on all aspects of Sears including corporate, appliances

and apparel. Accomplishments included: Produced over 70 Craftsman spots in

the first year of the campaign. Achieved the highest sales and awareness

gains in DieHard history.

ABELSON-TAYLOR-April 2005 to August 2005

Senior writer for the launch of Rozerem, an entirely new class of insomnia

medication. Also participated in several new business wins.

GSP MARKETING-May 2004 to April 2005

Creative Director-Assisted this bourgeoning direct marketing shop on a

variety of clients and many new business pitches, winning FTD and Eddie Z's

business for the agency.
