mixing laser interferometry and custom gas separation membranes.

biohazardous agents for high efficiency biological filtration with

personal, vehicle, or building application.

( Provided project support for multiple projects in the form of

optomechanical design, custom test apparatus, data acquisition system,

experiment design, and rapid prototype development.

( Prepared SBIR funding proposals for original research with 20% win

rate (SBIR average is 10%) resulting in $930,000 in funding.

Developed prototype PDM system to build arbitrary metallic (aluminum and

solder) 3D objects one drop at a time from computer files without a tool.

( Studied multi-droplet splat solidification with a numerical simulation

of 200 ?m molten metal drops that allows for re-melting.

vibrational structure to improve aluminum droplet generation.

utilizing 3D digitized data from laser, CT, and patch scanners in

conjunction with Pro/E and Imageware Surfacer.

wheeled dog carrier, breast pump, hockey helmet, ice skate blade

holder, scuba masks, pda, and many others.

( Formulated all project quoting. Designed and implemented departmental

project tracking system. Coordinated workload for four-member

engineering team.

( Completed projects utilizing injection molding, co-molding, insert

molding, vacuum forming, sheet metal, gas-assist molding, machine

design, mechanism design and optimization of manufacturing processes.
