Develop, lead, and execute overall material strategies. Forecast and
coordinate Material Planning Process. Direct operations and drive
performance in the areas of supply chain, procurement, manufacturing,
assembly, warehouse, and just-in-time distribution with strong focus on

Analyze customer's forecast and purchase patterns to identify optimum
inventory planning. Managed material requirement planning (MRP) execution,
scheduled and coordinated flow of work within departments of manufacturing
plant to expedite production. Reviewed production schedules and work
orders to eliminate material shortages in production. Revised schedule
according to work order specifications, established priorities and
availability of parts, material, machines, and equipment. Subject expert in
Costpoint, a module based ERP system.
Developed and implemented computer application to track work in progress
(WIP) throughout the facility across all programs including scenario
testing, resulting in the reduction of 2.5 full time equivalents (FTEs).
Participated on cross-functional team to automate non-conforming material
accounting and reporting, including development of an application allowing
different MA software and Costpoint software to create consistent records
and make transactions based on front-end user input greatly increasing
accuracy and accounting of non-conforming material.
Implemented new process to provide information to Master Scheduling that
ensured meeting Materials Management and Accounting (MMAS) and Federal
Acquisition Regulations (FAR) rules, as well as improved time for order
entry; including work instructions. Received Continuous Improvement Award
for this project.
