I am a self-starter who works independently utilizing ISO certified work

instructions to accomplish a wide range of warehousing activities, to

include, but not limited to receiving, storing, selecting and shipping

Prepare shipping and inventory documents with required data for manual or

automated inventory systems. Process and independently complete shipping

and receiving documents to insure correctness of quantities, proper

identification of materials received, and labeling Load and unload

shipments from trucks, rail cars, and other material conveyances using

forklifts, manual and mechanized pallet jacks, side loaders, stacker

cranes, and automated guided vehicles in mechanized warehouses. Stack,

move, and arrange items on pallets and take in consideration the height,

weight, and special handling requirements. Use pallet measuring gauges and

automated devices to insure that proper height, weight, and other load and

storage requirements are met and ensure that damage in storage or in

transit is prevented. I also safely operate a 6000 lb. forklift. In

addition to operating a forklift I also complete the daily vehicle safety

checklist for safety purposes prior to use. This report is submitted to my

supervisor bi-weekly. Additionally, I have been accident and spill free

while operating MHE within the warehouse and routinely practice good safety

habits and perform good housekeeping within my area of responsibility.

Furthermore, I have embarked on a location consolidation project within the

weapons area. This has improved inventory accuracy and drastically improved

utilization of warehouse space. Additionally, quickly educated myself on

the proper handling, security measures, and care in storage of over 40,000

pieces of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) located in the

Communications Security vault within Fleet Support Division. My duties

there consist of receiving the CCI material by reconciling the contents of

the shipment against the SF-153 and noting all damages, shortages and

separating the material by accountable legend code. I also place all

incoming CCI items on the receipts tracker so they can be inspected and

eventually placed on the Item Locator File (ILF). After inspection, I also

place all receipts on location and ensure all supporting documentation is

filed and forwarded to the item managers for induction into the Supply

system. We process approximately 1200 receipts per year. I also pull all

outgoing Material Release Orders verifying the quantity, serial numbers on

all shipments. Additionally, I update the packing slips on location

along with the pallet boards to reflect the current quantity. This

improves the care in storage of items maintained as well as inventory

accuracy. Furthermore, I assist the primary custodians with the inventory

of items by quantity and serial number. I also conduct location

consolidations and re-warehousing of material to maximize warehouse space.

material in accordance with EKMS 1B and EKMS 5A. Operates material
