A ir Force base) As a WG-10/8852 Aircraft Mechanic on the C-130 aircraft. Depot level
maintenance, which involves but not limited to removal of flight control surfaces such as
Vertical stabilizers, rudders, slats, flaps for repairs such as locating parts, fastener layouts,
hole preparation utilizing core and reamer drills for close tolerance and interferences fits,
very familiar with all materials used on and in aircraft such as 2024-T3, 7075-T6, 1-1/4
hard steel, monel for high heat areas and fabrication repair and installation of composite
materials. Countersinking and installation of a wide variety of fasteners, reinstallation on
t he aircraft, Removal, inspecting, troubleshooting and reinstallation of the landing gear
and other hydraulic systems as well as troubleshooting the pneumatic and oxygen systems.
A lso, moderate to heavy sheet metal/Structural repairs and replacement, flight control
r idging, flap and landing gear jackscrew replacement and adjustments and wheel and
brake replacements as needed, removal repair and replacement as needed of all cargo doors

metal duties including, but not limited to, disassemble, modify, repair and reassemble and fabrication of
complex aircraft structural assemblies & systems, including bulkheads, airframe spars, wing scoops,
flaps, fuselages skins, ribs, gussets and internal fuel tanks. Replacement of some major skin sections
such as the belly skin. Roller motors replacement in the cargo bays. Precision preparation
of interference fit riveting utilizing different size drills and reamers. Requested to be part of
