Objective
To obtain a full-time position as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am
currently a resident in the state of Arkansas, but my family and I are
ready to return to my husband's home state of Texas, and I am looking for a
position in my field. I am a very organized worker, with a positive
personality, good social skills and work well with others. I believe I can
make a positive contribution to your organization.
Qualifications
I have had several years of nursing experience. I was an LPN initially and
worked in both the hospital and office setting. While working as an office
nurse I was in charge of our OSHA compliance and organizing different areas
of the office. I've had experience with different types of computer
charting, such as Logician, CPSI, Chartlink and Wellsoft; and have no
problem learning new computer systems quickly. I have worked in the
hospital in the ICU, ER, med-surg, and telemetry floor since obtaining my
BSN. I have also worked in the hospital in a supervisory position at times
over the past couple of years. I have had experience in the past year,
since graduating with my MSN FNP, working as an APN part-time at AMMC in
Paragould with the Hospital Consultant Care Group Hospitalists and the
physicians with the Paragould Doctors Clinic. I am also working part-time
with the Schumacher Group in both the hospitalist program and the Emergency
Department at AMMC.
