. Youth Development Volunteer
o Initiated Healthy Communities project together with provincial
municipality and local authorities seeking to improve health of local
youth in two communities with the implementation of improved stoves,
eco-refrigerators, and storage shelves in homes of participating
families. Project includes a budget of 80,000 soles to work with 208
families.
o Initiated and operated a local recreation center / English Club
providing a safe and fun after-school environment for children.
o Designed and implemented a youth social theatre group for local
secondary art students covering the social themes of: friendship, work
ethic, hygiene, nutrition, environmental protection, alcoholism,
family violence, and gang affiliation.
o Directed youth leadership club motivating students to actively and
positively participate in their school and community.

o Informed volunteers from region of potential safety hazards including
earthquake preparedness as well as informing volunteers of safety
