Experience includes having direct profit/loss responsibilities for $49
million in solid waste management facility construction and $6 million in
engineering design/permitting projects; responsible for directing the daily
activities of clerical/accounting support staff, technical/design staff and
consultants; performing "due-diligence" for potential facility
acquisitions; directing field engineering activities and field
construction personnel and equipment; maintaining project budgets,

technical specifications; material quantity and cost estimate preparation;
preparing projected and/or remaining air space volume calculations;
preparing bid/contract documents for municipal, solid waste management,
recycling, land development, industrial, site remediation, and mining
projects.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING EXPERIENCE:
Experience includes selling professional and construction services to
municipal, Fortune 500 industry, waste industry, and land development
clients. Also responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring
annual business development/marketing plans and budgets; strategic
planning; evaluating new geographic business areas; brochure preparation;
performing "cold-calling" and continued existing client maintenance. Also
responsible for coordinating and participating in trade show events, civic
organizations and professional organizations as well as making
presentations at technical conferences. Extensive experience with
preparing detailed technical and professional fee proposals, and contract
negotiations.

. Profit/loss responsibility for preparation of engineering design,
environmental/municipal permit applications and successfully
managed construction of a scrap metal recycling facility located in
Palm Beach County, Florida having a total construction cost of
$850,000.
JMZ PROPERTIES, INC. - Engineering/Permitting/Construction Manager (6/1996
to 9/2004)
. Prepared construction plans, prepared and negotiated
environmental/municipal permits, and managed construction for the
closure of a five acre solid waste transfer station facility located
in Trenton, New Jersey.
. Prepared construction plans, post -closure monitoring plan, and
managed the construction for the successful closure of a 150 acre
solid waste landfill located in southwest Pennsylvania.
. Performed "due-diligence" on several solid waste landfill sites in
Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia for possible acquisition.
