Objective Stocking grocery shelves, cooking fast food meals, and night
stock at a hardware store have given me a very grounded
insight into the future that I am pursuing. Although not
afraid of manual labor, I am fascinated by the daily
operations aspect of any organization.
Experience 5/2008- 9/2009 Lowe's Southaven, MS
Overnight Stocker, Assembler, and Paint Specialist
Assembler: I would build and fix all displays. I would also
assemble customer orders and ready to buy products. (ex:
grills, lawnmowers, swings, and fountains)
Paint Specialist: I was trained in the paint department
where I gained more than general knowledge on all cleaning
and paint related products. I was in charge of mixing
paints.
Overnight Stocker: I was in charge of unloading the trucks,
stocking the shelves, cleaning the store, and topstocking
excess inventory.
7/2007- 11/2007 ManPower Southaven, MS
Temporary warehouse worker
BMW warehouse (Senatobia, MS): I was part of a relabeling
project where I was trained to use a inventory scan gun and
pull orders.
NorthAmerican Electrics (Hernando, MS): I was the person who
would banned and prepped the motors for shipping. I was in
charge of delivery and receiving inventory shipments.
9/2005- 11/2006 SuperValue Marks, MS
Cashier/ Stocker
Cashier: I was trained on the cash register. On weekends and
holidays, I would be used as an extra cashier.
Stocker: I was in charge of stocking the shelves and
prepping them for inventory.
