MOX Nuclear Fuel Fabrication Facility Project
. Employed as a Commodity (Pipe, HVAC, Cable Tray) Support
Engineer at the MOX D.O.E. Project since January 2009.
. Responsible for support design and creation of support
drawings for a group of 20 engineers.
. Perform calculations for pipe supports for dead weight, thermal,
and seismic loading.
. Possess an in-depth knowledge of nuclear design software tools,
such as Microstation and Support Modeler, as well as analysis
tools such as STAAD Pro V8i and MathCAD 14.
. Creator of custom VBA engineering programs to aid with STAAD
analysis.
. Performed duties as a field engineer for Civil/Structural group
including detailing rebar, ECR/NCR dispositions,
technical justifications based on ANSYS modeling, embed and
surface-mounted plate qualifications, and in-field
engineering decisions.
. Familiar with Caesar II pipe stress analysis software, as well as
ASME process piping code B31.3, and several code cases
including N-392-3 and N-318-5.
. Well versed in the use of the AISC Steel Construction Manual, AISC

and 353, as well as several other Nuclear-related codes,
