MOX Nuclear Fuel Fabrication Facility Project

. Employed as a Commodity (Pipe, HVAC, Cable Tray) Support

Engineer at the MOX D.O.E. Project since January 2009.

. Responsible for support design and creation of support

drawings for a group of 20 engineers.

. Perform calculations for pipe supports for dead weight, thermal,

and seismic loading.

. Possess an in-depth knowledge of nuclear design software tools,

such as Microstation and Support Modeler, as well as analysis

tools such as STAAD Pro V8i and MathCAD 14.

. Creator of custom VBA engineering programs to aid with STAAD

analysis.

. Performed duties as a field engineer for Civil/Structural group

including detailing rebar, ECR/NCR dispositions,

technical justifications based on ANSYS modeling, embed and

surface-mounted plate qualifications, and in-field

engineering decisions.

. Familiar with Caesar II pipe stress analysis software, as well as

ASME process piping code B31.3, and several code cases

including N-392-3 and N-318-5.

. Well versed in the use of the AISC Steel Construction Manual, AISC

N690, ASCE 4-98, ACI code 349-01, AWS code D1.1-98, WRC 107

and 353, as well as several other Nuclear-related codes,

guidelines, and standards.

. Employed as an Engineer in Training at Alliance Consulting from

April to December 2008.

. Worked directly with a group of land development design engineers,

and aided with various tasks including interaction with city

engineers and customers for design projects.

. Became proficient with design tools, such as Land Development

Desktop and AutoCAD Civil 3D for a variety of tasks,

including storm water detention/retention pond design,

building surfaces based on surveyor-collected data, and

parking lot and drainage designs.
