PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

WALMART - 1994 - 2010

Upc and Invoice office- Tasks included researching and checking daily

reports in prevention of lost profit and shrink within the store. Other

duties included data entry, answering associate questions, making sure all

item files are in system and that all barcodes scan at registers. Invoice

tasks included processing claims and transmittals to Home Office on a daily

basis, paying in store bills, and assisting associates as needed.

Personnel office- Tasks included monitoring all associates time and

attendance and making sure all time was correctly imputed into the system

for payroll purposes. Fixing and adjusting time if it needed fixed. Also

was in charge of the orientation process for new hires.

Department Manager - Tasks included conducting and executing price changes

in a timely manner, making sure all merchandise is stocked and put on

sales floor, setting floor plans, and checking to see that all pricing and

signing is correct. Other basic tasks include assisting customers, and

displaying merchandise to make it appealing to sell.

Apparel Processor - Tasks as processor included taking care of apparel as

it came off of truck in backroom receiving area. All merchandise had to be

opened, plastic removed, clips removed, and hangers put on them and taken

to sales floor to sell to customer.

Sales Floor Clerk

Provided outstanding customer service. Responsible for cleaning,

organizing and zoning of departments on a regular basis. Answered

multiple phone lines. Primary responsibilities included back office and

internal support functions. Increased productivity, efficiency and quality

of operations through the establishment and reorganization of company

policies.
