Provided operational direction and leadership over the strategic and day to day operations of the Global Sourcing
Department with accountability for a $484 million annual spend across 5 production and 3 processing centers. Of the
total spend; $64 million was for raw fruit purchases. Sourced materials from 22 countries on 6 continents. Senior
member of a cross functional operations team that increased EBIDTA from $46 million in 2008 to $84 million in
2009 and $92 million in 2010. Managerial responsibility for a staff of 8 in Procurement, 2 in country consultants and
6 in Material Management. Launched and mentored a Continuous Improvement Team to focus on cost reduction
• Slashed annual spend by $1.4 million and secured an additional $1.2 million in signing bonus with the
successful negotiation of a multi year agreement with closure supplier for a baseline price reduction of

Direct oversight and responsibility for procurement operations for 21 production centers with over $1.3 billion annual
spend. Cultivated profitable partnerships with suppliers and mentored procurement staff on Supplier Relationship
Management. Negotiated contracts focused on cost control, quality, pricing mechanisms and profit improvement.
• Mitigated a $76 million cost increase with the negotiation of a contract with can supplier to reduce annual
spend by $23.8 million and establishing a two year aluminum cap. The cap clause in the contract saved $17
million in 2006 and $59 million in 2007.
• Recovered $4.8 million in overpayments from 4 suppliers through the research and analysis of 9 quarters of
past pricing data in the plastic bottle category; saved an additional $4.3 million annually by resetting pricing.
• Negotiated an extension of plastic bottle contract with largest incumbent, lowering pricing by $6.8 million and
securing favorable DPSUBG pricing for all acquired entities valued at $4.8 million in synergies.
• Implemented and was sole steward of a 920 million pound HFCS toll program. Reduced costs by buying corn
contracts directly and having suppliers process corn into HFCS at a set tolling fee. Saved $21.5 million during
the 3 years of the supplier contracts. Locked in multiple year tolling fees beneficial to an increasing market.
