OBJECTIVE

A dependable, highly organized, experienced Administrative Assistant with an associate’s degree

in Networking has just relocated to your area. I am seeking a full time office position offering

administrative support in all aspects of the daily operations. My required salary, 30K, is

comparable to most assistant’s positions, and you get the IT degree with it. This can only

increase my value to your company. I had an opportunity to go back to school and earn a degree,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

I have attended several auditing courses, quality courses with AAIG through my employer. I am

very proficient in most computer programs starting with word, excel, access and using AS400,

PMC, and Kronos. I have earned my Associates degree in computer networking but as of now, I

have not held a position in the IT field.

Purchasing

• As a purchasing assistant, cost savings became beneficial. During my last year, I

documented over $100,000 in savings for the company.

Quality Assurance

• In the Quality department, I worked closely with the Auditing Supervisor. When she went on

special assignment, I took over her responsibilities.

I performed an image scan of the testing records for all the school districts in Hillsdale County and

then filed and stored the hard copies. I took this job knowing that it was a temporary position for

the experience in a school environment.

Facilities and Maintenance Assistant, 03/2000 - 08/2008

Hutchinson FTS, Reading, MI

I answered the phone system, met with vendors, visitors and the public. I distributed mail, faxes

and answered general correspondence. I was responsible for the data entry of purchase orders,

labor hours, scrap details and ran reports for managers from this information. It was my job to

issue, track and close maintenance work orders and maintain the preventative maintenance

program. This data was then entered into excel spreadsheets and graphs were developed. All

hard copies were then filed for specified retention periods. I was available for administrative

support to all departments including HR. Before this promotion, I worked in a production cell.

Quality Assurance Administrative Assist, 03/1988 - 03/2000

Amcast Automotive, Fremont, IN

I developed an access database to incorporate customer complaints, returns, held material,

issuance of corrective/preventative actions, sort results, and management decisions. This

database opened all connected forms. I entered data for internal quality audits in word and results

were entered into spreadsheets for graphs. I was a customer representative for quality issues and

did follow up on the corrective/preventative actions resulting from complaints. I filed, stored and

was in charge of the destruction of all quality records.

Before getting promoted to this position, I was a QS9000 clerk, which provided necessary

administrative support to the quality department. Before the clerk position I was a product auditor.

In this position, I audited the process to make corrections. I worked in the tool crib where I did

data entry for all production, scrap and rework. I tracked all tooling inventory and assisted in

receiving. Before this promotion, I ran CNC lathes and paint lines.
