Analyze previous year's results along with our monthly goal, and
broke the goal down into weekly and daily targets. Instrumental in
coaching, training, and developing associates sales and selling
techniques aiding them to meeting their goals, and deliver excellent
customer service.
Visual merchandising encompasses floor-sets twice a month, also
mannequin and window displays.
Merchandise adjustments were made daily, due to availability and
space constraints.
Other responsibilities consisted of opening and closing the store,
cash management, scheduling, inventory control, shipping, receiving,
and loss prevention.

Working for the 3rd largest greeting card manufacturer, I was the
Operations Manager in Region A.
I eliminated most of the paperwork for the sales managers in our
region. This involved setting up new accounts, reviewing hundreds of
existing accounts in each territory to determine a better turn
rate/profitability, diagramming the card flow run, and
planning/purchasing for all seasonal buys. I also designed and
developed instructional manuals for the service representatives,
outlining all the procedures for the Meijer accounts, and developed a
selling tool to help the turn rate in the Target accounts throughout
the country.
