Business Experience:

2001 - 2010 Americas Insurance Company - Chief Financial

Officer

After a two year period away from the company, I was

recruited to rejoin Americas Insurance to assist with

the continuing run-off operation. After a change in

ownership in 2008, Americas Insurance Company emerged

from run-off and began live underwriting operations. I

was asked to continue in my role as Chief Financial

Officer responsible for the overall operation of the

insurance company's daily and monthly accounting

functions and the generation of Quarterly and Annual

Financial Statements.

2000 - 2001 Tosco Refining Corporation - Assistant

Accounts Payable Manager

I assisted the Accounts Payable manager in

reconciliation and settlement of operational expenses of

a large independent oil refiner.

1999 - 2000 Westway Group - (animal feed ) Staff Accountant

I spent one year as a Staff Accountant assisting the

controller of Westway Trading Corporation - (animal feed

division) in various areas including the reconciliation

of Accounts Payable and Inventory control.

1998 - 1999 Americas Insurance Company

Assistant Vice President - Accounting

After a brief departure from Americas Insurance Company,

I was asked to rejoin the company March 31, 1998. By

June 1998, I was offered and accepted a promotion to

Assistant Vice President of Accounting. I was asked to

oversee the accounting function as well as assume the

role of computer operator responsible for the production

of all reports from the AS400 mainframe computer on a

monthly and quarterly basis.

1997 - 1998 SMAU/Americas Insurance Company - Consultant / Trainer

During this period, I continued my employment with

Southern Marine & Aviation Underwriters/Americas

Insurance Company as a consultant, training employees

while also working on projects as assigned.

1996 - 1997 SMAU/Americas Insurance Company - Intercompany

Reconciliation Project Manager

I lead a project whose purpose was to reconcile and

settle long outstanding balances due to or due from

affiliated group companies. This project involved much

research into past procedures to determine how balances

were originally generated and to determine the cause of

the errors. After this analysis was completed, the

errors were identified and corrected. I established

new procedures based on what was learned through my

analysis of the accounts that enabled the company to

balance records and prevent future errors.

1990 - 1996 SMAU/ Americas Insurance Company - Accounts Receivable

Manager / Accounts Payable

I administered Accounts Payable from 1990 - 1996 which

entailed settling premiums and loss balances with both

domestic and foreign reinsurance companies while

continuing in my role as Accounts Receivable Manager.

During this period, Americas Insurance Company entered

into voluntary run - off. Though the majority of the

staff was released, I was asked to remain to assist with

an orderly closing process.

1980 - 1996 SMAU - Accounts Receivable Manager

As Accounts Receivable Manager, I was responsible for

application of payments received and monitoring

outstanding balances generated by annual premium writing

in excess if $150 million dollars. This position

required problem solving skills in order to correctly

identify and resolve discrepancies between the company's

billings and payments received from the approximately

350 - 375 active agents.

1978 - 1980 SMAU - Coding Clerk

As coding clerk at Southern Marine & Aviation

Underwriters, Inc., my duties included preparation of

premium and loss information for computer entry. I held

this position for two years before receiving a promotion

to Accounts Receivable Manger.

1977 -1978 SMAU - File Clerk

I began my career with Southern Marine & Aviation

Underwriters, Inc. as a file clerk and was promoted

during my first year to the accounting department as a

coding clerk.
