Rodney Lehman
Estate Manager
Transportation Specialist
Having formal education as well as almost 10 years of hands on Estate experience, enables me to handle the
day to day operations necessary on a large property. As a child, my family owned and operated a dairy farm
which entailed responsibility for me seven days a week, 365 days a year. This included operation of all farm
equipment, tending to the animals, working on 120 acres, and utilizing team work to support the family
business. When I was 21, I started a trucking company transporting U.S. Mail. I owned several vehicles and
had employees. As the owner, I was responsible for vehicle maintenance, supervision, payroll, scheduling and
daily operations. The postal service was VERY particular about time schedules and on time delivery. My
contract was renewed over the course of 15 years until the business was sold. My wife and I attended
Household management training and have worked together on several large estates. My responsibilities have
included, daily walk around, recording, coordinating with the principals for work to be done, hiring vendors,
and follow up to make sure work has been completed in a timely manner. Also, it has been my job to check
and do minor repairs on pools and other estate equipment. This was done within the budget requirements.
For most of my life, I have worked without a lot of supervision. Having the ability to receive direction from a
superior and then carry out the task unsupervised is second nature for me. My driving career began when I
was 8. On the farm, I had to drive the farm equipment in order to assist with the operation. I owned and
operated tractor trailers, have driven Limousines, and have operated a passenger bus at Walt Disney World
Resort. Having over 2 million miles of safe accident free driving makes me an excellent driver. I understand
the need for confidentiality and respect those I work for.
