Professional Experience
McDonalds Restaurant
Shift manager 2004 present
• Count register teals, count and I am responsible for any and all money made on my shift. Control the
money that is in the safe and in the drop safe. I am also responsible for going to the bank at the end of my
shift to make sure that the manager after me is equipped with enough change for their shift.
• I make a “battle plan” which means I prepare my shift so that every crew member on my floor knows where
they’re to be positioned according to where they are most efficient and comfortable working.
• Before beginning my shift I do a pre shift checklist. It is used to help me to prepare for my target peak hours
and to set my goals that I hope to achieve pertaining to how fast I want to get an order out to every
customer. An example would be that I hope to achieve 90 second drive time average at the end of our peak
hour which usually is lunch time during the hours of 11 1.
• On my pre shift checklist I also do a walk through to make sure all equipment is operating correctly and that
any safety issues have been taken care of; and if not, in the process of being taken care of. Must make sure
that all items that I am going to need are stocked up efficiently according to the stock charts and all product
is not expired and have expiration dates on them.
• I supervise all crew members and push them to reach the goals I have set and to deliver our customers with
speed and efficiency. I strive to serve every customer so that they leave our establishment happy and
satisfied and welcome them to come back for another satisfied visit.
• At the end of my shift after counting my drawers and safe I turn over the floor and safe to the next manager
and do a post shift checklist so that I leave the floor clean, stocked, and ready for the next manager to take
over. Lastly I communicate with them so that they know of any call outs or equipment that may not be
working so they are not in the dark and have a heads up.

Although I have not yet performed as a Dental Assistant, I am eager to begin my career in this field in
hopefully your office. I finished at the top of my class, with an overall grade of 94, and where I lack in
experience I make up for in my hard work and determination. I am very much a team player. I do not think
that any business, whether it this or any, can function properly without the cooperation of every team
member. I am a very quick learner and will perform any task given to me consistently and speediously. I
hope to work alongside with you. Thank you for your time.
