WORK EXPERIENCE
TURNER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY 2001 Present New York/San Francisco
Project Manager for large scale ($100M +) construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and New
York City. Project types include Commercial, Healthcare (OSHPD), Educational, and Criminal
Justice. Responsible for supervision of engineering staff as well as overall management of various
components of large, complex construction projects. Involved with preconstruction, estimating,
purchasing, engineering management (submittals, RFIs, document review, budget creation and
maintenance, etc.), project schedule review and maintenance, cost control and risk management.
2010 Present Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Bed Building 1 ($300M) San Jose, CA
OSHPD Project consists of a five story, 375,000 square foot bed building for the County of Santa
Clara, CA. The project will serve as a rehabilitation center for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord
injury. The 168 bed building will include a rehabilitation therapy center, aquatic therapy pools, support
offices and a pharmacy. The replacement hospital project is being constructed to achieve a LEED
certification.
2008 2010 Mills Peninsula Hospital Replacement Project ($380M) Burlingame, CA
OSHPD Project consisted of a new six level 450,000 square foot hospital (243 beds), and the
demolition of the existing 50 year old hospital and adjacent parking structure. Building structure was
a composite steel frame system with a combination exterior wall (precast/metal panel/glass/AESS).
First base isolated hospital in California built on friction pendulum bearings, designed to resist an 8.0
earthquake and movement of up to 30” in any direction. Mechanical systems for the building were
modeled and coordinated completely in 3D using BIM (Building Information Modeling) techniques.
200*-****-*** Mission Street ($130M) San Francisco, CA
555 Mission Street is a 33 story Class A office tower constructed in downtown San Francisco.
The design includes two (2) levels of underground parking, a large open plaza w/ topiary (green) wall,
4,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 32 elevated office floors totaling
approximately 550,000 square feet. Building achieved LEED Gold certification.
2005 2006 Stephen Gaynor School / Ballet Hispanico ($20M) New York, NY
Project included construction of a 52,000 square foot, 10 story reinforced concrete structure on a
6,000 square foot lot. A mid level glass walled room holds the new science, art, music and library for
the school, all linked by an open central stair. The building shares space with a major Manhattan
Ballet Company (Ballet Hispanico).
200*-****-*** Jay Street – Kings County Courthouse ($500M) New York, NY
Project included construction of the new 32 Story Brooklyn Family & Supreme Courthouse for the
City and State of New York. The 1.1 million square foot building consists of 84 courtrooms, and
related office space (including two stories that will house the building’s mechanical equipment). The
below grade parking and floors 1 through 25 will be occupied by the Supreme and Family courts for
the State of New York. The remaining floors (26 through 30) were developed as commercial office
space.

MARTIN/MARTIN CONSULTING ENGINEERS 1996 2000 Denver, CO
1996 2000 Structural Design Engineer
Lead structural engineering designer for various commercial, educational, residential, and
hotel/entertainment buildings in the State of Colorado. Responsibilities included complete structural
design and coordination from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. Responsible
for coordination with the architectural and MEP drawings, preparation of structural design
calculations for submission to the Building Department, Shop Drawing review, Field Observations
and Reports.
