EXPERIENCE
Maintenance Manager
Employed 5/2007 to 10/2010 at Cliffstar, Greer, South Carolina facility.
Responsible for entire plant from a Maintenance perspective. This included
facility, fork lift repairs, waste treatment and preventative maintenance
program. We used MP2 as our CMMS. Managed 1 supervisor, 1 parts
coordinator, 16 technicians and 1 PLC coordinator. I also managed a 1.3
million dollar R& M budget. I was instrumental in raising the overall plant
efficiency from 50% to 62 % during this period. I reduced Maintenance
turnover from 60% to 18% during the same period. I was the plant contact
for 3 major projects that totaled $2.8 million, with the projects on time
and on budget. We attained Excellent ratings on both SQF and Siliker audits
during this period This was a 7.4 million case hot fill, aseptic juice
plant. Reported to the plant manager.
Maintenance Manager
Employed 3/2005 to 5/2007 at Cott Beverages USA, Wilson, North Carolina
facility. Responsible for entire plant from a maintenance perspective
which includes utilities and preventative maintenance program. Used BPCS
for CMMS. Manage 1 supervisor, 1 parts coordinator, 12 technicians and 1
PLC coordinator and a $760,000 R&M budget. Managed several capital
projects including installation of a Krones Variopak. This is a 17 million
case facility with both a bottle line and a can line. Reported to Plant
Manager.
Maintenance Manager
Employed 6/1997 to 3/2005 at Coca Cola Mid America in Lenexa, Kansas. Had
total responsibility for a 27.5 million case plant. This included
building, utilities and contractor interface. Oversaw CMMs program,
Maximo. Supervised one maintenance supervisor, one parts coordination and
14 mechanics, three shifts, 24 hours a day 6 days per week operation.
Managed $860,000 M&R budget and managed all capital projects from writing
requests for funds to project completion. A few projects included
installing a new ammonia compressor room and installing a microblend on one
bottle line. I helped plant attain TCCQS certification by serving as
program owner for both maintenance and the plant's environmental program.
Maintenance Manager
Employed 1/1994 to 6/1997 at BCB Manufacturing, Inc. (Cott Beverages) in
St. Louis, Missouri. Total maintenance responsibility for 18 million case
private co-pack plant. This included building maintenance, fork lift
repairs and utilities. Supervised and managed two supervisors and 16
mechanics 24 hours a day, 6 days per week operation. Managed a $550,000
R&M budget and a $2.7 million capital budget. Contractor selection and
interface on 6 each major projects to completion. Reported to Vice
President of Operations.
Maintenance Manager
Employed 12/1993 to 1/1994 at BCI, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Total
responsibilities for 18 million case plant. Managed 3 shifts, 6 days per
week - 10 mechanics. Managed $300,000 R&M budget and $l.5 million capital
budget. Reported to Vice President of Operations.
Maintenance Manager
Employed 4/1991 to 12/1993 Clinton's Ditch Co-Op in Syracuse,New York.
Total responsibilities for 26 million case facility. This included
preventative maintenance, overhaul, contract enforcement and
administration. Project supervisor and contractor interface on 5 major
projects. Managed 1 supervisor, 11 mechanics and a $380,000 R&M budget.
Reported to Plant Manager.
Packaging Maintenance Supervisor
Employed 11/1979 to 8/1991 at Miller Brewing Company at its Fulton, New
York plant. Responsible for total maintenance on high speed bottling
lines. Start up responsibility for aseptic bottling line, joint interaction
with production for running line efficiencies. Planning and scheduling
work for 3 maintenance supervisors and 20 maintenance mechanics.Worked
with corporate and plant engineers for final implementation of projects.
Reported to Area Manager.
MILITARY EXPERIENCE
Served 4 years in United States Navy in engineering group, specializing in
electrical maintenance. Accelerated rank advancement, supervisory
responsibilities for ship's electrical and preventative maintenance
program.
