My responsibilities included overall senior management of al projects and project staff, including final review of
preconstruction budgeting, scheduling, final pricing and buy-out, Owner presentation, negotiation and construction.
Duties included continuous monitoring of the construction, financial, billing, safety and close-out process. Hired
project staffs, incorporate them into Turner’s business directives and managed staff training.

“I was directly responsible for leading and growing work acquisition to over $300 million sales
in just seven years. Targeted Project Markets were Healthcare, Commercial Office, Education.”
Responsibilities included developing relationships with decision makers for new project acquisition and then
leading initial cost and schedule process. I had direct involvement with owners and architects to creatively hit
budget targets in an “open book” format. Other duties included: Subcontractor prequalification and competitive
bidding followed by project scope review, prepared and presented contracts to Owners and specialty contractors,
made presentations to developers, division’s media spokesperson and developed 1, 3 and 5 year strategic plans
using local data aligned with overall corporate plan. Prepared division business plans including executive, work
procurement and operational goals.

I assisted Disney’s Imagineering group in identifying and defining project scope, dividing the massive park into
manageable portions including pre-qualifying contractors and milestone scheduling. My responsibilities included
presenting project portions and then competitively bidding to selected contractors based on experience, financial
stability, safety, crew staffing and scheduling milestone adherence.
Additionally, I developed a Design Build approach for a Thermal Energy Storage Facility to supply chilled water -
saving replacing aging chillers and adding redundant cooling to Disney hotels, attractions and office facilities.
Project also included an upgrade to Disney’s co-gen plant. Project won several awards including an award by the
Florida Society of Professional Engineers.
Civil/Structural Engineering Designer
LITWIN PETROCHEMICAL ENGINEERING CO.
Responsibilities included design and field engineering of refineries, process plants and major industrial facilities. I
also assisted the marketing department with proposals and presentations to Owners. My position included
extensive travel on several assignments for refineries and process plants in the Virgin Islands, Louisiana, Colorado
and Kansas.
