Objective:

Administration:

Clinical:

. monitor animals' recovering from surgery and notify the

veterinarians of any unusual changes or symptoms

. clean and maintain kennels, holding areas, examination and

operating rooms to control the spread of diseases

. hold or restrain animals during veterinary procedures

. assist veterinarians in examining animals to determine the nature

of illness

. clean, maintain, and sterilize instruments and equipment

. perform routine laboratory test or diagnostic test such as blood

draws and x-rays

. collect, prepare, and label samples for laboratory testing, culture

or microscopic examination

. fill prescriptions, measuring, and labeling containers

. explaining what the medication is for and how often it should be

given

. prepare and administer medications, vaccines, serums, and

treatments plans, as prescribed by the veterinarians

. perform laboratory test on blood, feces, urine for test such as

urinalysis, and blood counts.
