Professional Experience:

United States Navy 1970-1978: First class Petty Officer - Served 8 years in the US Navy submarine force.

Gained a repetition with superiors for being a top notch supervisor and watch stander. I have a successful record

SEACOR (Systems Engineering Corporation): 1982-1984

Team leader for Mechanical vibration and Acoustic work. Performed collection, reduction and written reports on

findings and recommendations. Lead operator and Annalists for Acoustic range at San Calamite Island.

ISA (Integrated Systems Analysis): 1984-1986 Team leader for Mechanical vibration and Acoustic work.

Performed collection, reduction and written reports on findings and recommendations. Ran Acoustic range at San

Calamite Island. Worked with Software engineer on major upgrade on software and deep water array. Repair of a

multi-channel magnetic tape recorder that had be badly damaged in drop from a helicopter during a transfer at sea

in heavy seas.

NOSC (Naval Ocean Systems Center): Team leader for Mechanical vibration and Acoustic work. Performed

collection, reduction and written reports on findings and recommendations. Ran Acoustic range at San Calamite

Island. Worked with Software engineer on major upgrade on software and deep water array.

US NAVY Submarine Force Leading Petty Officer (LPO): I was LPO on 2 nuclear powered submarines,

Team Leader at two companies working under a Department of Defense contracts and range control lead at a

deep water acoustic range.

Education 46 units towards a mechanical engineering degree. Had to stop due to travel schedule that keep me

overseas for periods that sometimes lasted two to three weeks and 4 or 5 times a year.

• AN/BQS 2-4 Submarine Sonar System (operation/repair)

• AN/BQS 11-12-13 Submarine Sonar System (operation/repair)

• AN/BQR -20,-22,-23 Tow Array (operation/repair)

• SS-2 Submarine Rader Systems (operation/repair)

Certificates & Licenses: CERT certification, Amateur Extra Ham Radio License.

Management: Leading Petty Officer (LPO) on 2 submarine sonar gangs, Team leader at to 2 companies

preforming data collection projects for Navy Type Commander at NAVSUFPAC (naval surfaces forces pacific

fleet) in San Diego Ca. These were DOD Contractors. I was In charge of Vibration/Acoustic Data collection

teams.

Training & Development: As part of my job - Trained, planned and supervised vibration teams in many trips

around the world. This task included scheduling people and equipment being at the right location at the right time.

Operation& Logistics: I was as responsible for the people and equipment being at the right place and right time.

I had to make sure that the shipping, travel plans and any documentation was in order including passports.
