Position reports to the Director of Radiology and Chairman of

Radiology for large radiology department. Responsibilities include

the scheduling of meetings for the Director of Radiology, Chairman of

Radiology and the Radiology Management Team. Manage and coordinate

multiple calendars for 100 employee department with multiple shifts.

Liaison for other leaders and physicians and responds to needs

confidentially and timely.

Point of contact and gatekeeper for communications, visitors and

responds to requests both internal and external accurately and

expeditiously.

Coordinates meeting materials and distributes as appropriate.

Point person and coach for all support staff in the department both in

hospital and outpatient imaging center.

Tracks department budgets and prepares variance reports for director

and chairman's use.

Coordinates and organizes quality program documentation and

presentations for all operational areas of radiology.

Monitors workflows and makes adjustments to insure efficiency and high

levels of productivity.

Maintains confidential HR, patient and other information and files.

Manages purchase orders and payments for accounting and materials

management. Administer receipts and expenses for all modalities

within Radiology. Liaison for Accounts Payable. Responsible for

ordering, maintaining and budgeting supplies for all eleven department

cost centers.

Create, develop, analyze, review and maintain records, spreadsheets,

charts and data base for department.

Prepares capital requests and justifications related to equipment

purchases and associated activities.

Organizes and maintains data and presentations related to research

projects.

Coordinates education events for technical and support staff.
