Top Crop I I Wind Farm-2010 to Present
Senior Civil Construction Manager currently leading the civil construction portion
of the Top Crop I I Wind Farm in Ransom I l l inois. This 200 MW facility has an
anticipated completion cost of $270 million. Currently managing 150 union craft
l abor.
2009-2010
Senior Civil Construction Manager for Blue Canyon Phase V wind farm successfully
completed in Lawton Oklahoma in 2009. This 100 MW facility was completed for
$196 million. Managed the civil contractors that utilized 200 union and open-shop
craft labor.

Senior Civil Construction Manager for the Pioneer Prairie Wind Farm that was

Senior Civil Construction Manager for the successful completion of the TVA’s 1400
M W coal fi red f lue gas de-sulpherization facility in Kingston TN., with a completion
cost of $600 million. A joint venture with URS and Mi tsubishi Industries. Managed
t he civil contractors that supplied supervision of 300 Union Craft Labor. Review and
quality assurance of all foundation layout with a combined quantity of over 23,000
cubic yards of placed concrete structures.
Discovered and corrected a layout error of 23 caissons saving the project additional
costs of $530,000 in re-design and re-alignment.
2004 to 2006
Senior Civil Construction Manager for the successful completion of the TVA’s 1250
M W coal fi red f lue gas de-sulpherization facility in Paradise Kentucky, with a
completion cost of $230 million. Managed civil contractors that provided quality
control of 20,000 cubic yards of placed structures. The project was also a joint
venture with URS Corporation and M i tsubishi Industries.

Reconductor installation for United I lluminating for catenary service feeders
approx. 15 miles in length to service Metro-Norths existing t rack corridor.
Installed t ransmission and sub-t ransmission feeders for Atlantic Electric to supply
power service to T rump Plaza’s “TAJ” Mahal.
B uffalo-North Star 1987-1989
Lead Project Engineer
The Marcy South L ine, a joint venture between North-Star Contracting and Buffalo
E lectric for the New York Power Authority. Project consisted of a 345 KV double
circuit t ransmission line originating in Marcy New York and terminating in
Monticello New York, a distance of 130 miles through the Catskill National Park.
Depending on existing soil conditions, foundations varied from grillage lattice
s tructure foundations, blasted – drilled caissons for tubular compression structures,
and H-Frame wood structures. Caisson foundations constructed in wet soil
conditions were cofferdamned and de-watered.
Conductor was installed by a Hughes helicopter utilizing a straw-hardline-conductor
set-up dropped into a “Fly Block” pulley system.
I designed and built two wooden bridge structures on t rout sensitive steam
c rossings in the Catskill Park for heavy equipment crossings to site areas. The
b ridges were approved for construction by the New York Department of
E nvironmental Conservation.
L ayed out and managed civil construction of foundations of the 345 kv substation at
t he termination tie in.
E nti re project was completed under schedule.
