This job is the direct selling of Cutco merchandise, I started out showing it to my
parents and people I knew, then I would ask for people they thought might be
interested in seeing the product, I would then call them and attempt to set up a
demo over the phone. When I set up a demo I would go to their house and sell
them Cutco.
I was also trained in the Fairs & Shows, and got to attend the New Jersey State
fair of them for my training there I would sell Cutco to fair goers.
Over the Summer I also attended 5 conferences, 3 of which were focused on the
Pennsylvania District, one that included New York, Pennsylvania, and New
Jersey, and the last included the whole Northeast, Pennsylvania and north. At
these conferences I would learn advanced sales techniques, and leadership
training.
Over the 2010 summer I accumulated over 600 references, and sold over
$12,000 worth of Cutco.
There were also weekly team meeting in which I would often give speeches to a
lot of other employees about a multitude of sales related subjects.
