To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Billy Gregg for approximately 5 years. Originally he was working directly
with clients as a sponsor/residential advisor and in a Team Lead position. As a team lead
person he had direct weekly contact with families to report on how their son or daughter
was doing in the recovery community. The skills that he demonstrated in this area of
responsibility made him a natural choice for the position of Director of Family
Communications.
In his new Director position he became part of the Management Team and its weekly
meetings. He always made important contributions to the leadership process. He
demonstrated patience, good boundaries, respect of coworkers and earned an appreciation
from others for his follow through in his area of responsibility. He was always a part of
team conference calls with family members that included the clinical director, program
director, primary therapist, staff psychologist and our psychiatrist. His dependability and
leadership qualities then led to his placement as the director of the Gatehouse residential
college campus in Prescott, Arizona.
His knowledge of addictions, relapse prevention and family dynamics has been valuable
in educating families about the addiction process. The families and their resident attend 3
family workshops during their 1-year program. The survey responses by family members
and residents have always been of the highest regard for his knowledge and interpersonal
relationship skills.
