project. IBM MQ Series is used to send and receive data to

and from mainframe system, which takes the decision. ADO is

used as the interface to the Oracle Database. COM

components are developed to implement business logics which

interact with stored procedures and other database objects.

VB6.0 is used for all the component development. Users are

authorized and authenticated using getAccess. SMTP is used

to generate and send Emails. Oracle 9i built in DES 3

algorithms are used to Encrypt/Decrypt vital customer

information.

SSOSimulator is developed for CHASE functional testing

team to remove the dependency between Chase-on-line and

eBanking sites. EChase Cookies, ISAPI plugin and SOAP

interface are the three elements of SSOSimulator.

eChase Cookies will be simulated by setting cookies

from ASP page within eBanking IIS web server. A browser-

based form will be presented to capture cookie data and on

submission will set the cookie for chase.com domain.

A VC++ based ISAPI plugin is installed on eBanking

IIS server that will intercept the HTTP request. This

plugin will read cookies set by the eChase cookie element

and will convert cookies into corresponding HTTP request

header that can be used by eBanking application.

A new SOAP interface is developed which has methods

required by eBanking application. This interface will read

static XML text files and will simulate chase-on-line SOAP

call.

COLA will enable a customer to view product descriptions of all CHASE

Automotive Finance (CAF) loan and lease products, navigate

through frequently asked questions, utilize a glossary and

locate a CAF dealership based on an entered zip code and

car manufacturer.

The customer would also have the ability to view the current

CAF loan rates and an estimate of a monthly payment based

on different terms and credit tiers. Finally, the customer

would be able to submit a loan application directly to CAF

and receive a decision via the web site.

On site off site team model has been used for this project.

LDAP and ADSI are used for CHASE employee validations. IBM

MQ is used to send and receive information to mainframe

. As a senior consultant, was involved in the design,

testing, development and deployment of the and User

interface, Database, Middle Tier components for

Rights and Digital Asset Management (RDAM)

application developed for the different business

units of Viacom Inc.

. Involved in Functional and regression testing of the

application using different automation tools.

RDAM facilitates maintaining Rights such Licenses, Contracts for

Original, Acquired Movies and other various Television

Productions. The system also maintains digital assets such

as video clippings, Images etc. RDAM provides a finance

module which tracks the amortization and License fee

calculations for productions and provides OLAP Reports.

Since RDAM is designed as a single application which

supports the different business units of Viacom, which

follows similar yet different business, practices, the

system followed an n-tier architecture using reusable

ActiveX/DCOM components deployed on MTS in a network

server. Due to the Enterprise nature of the application the

system provided increased reusability using its state of

the art Object Oriented Design and was designed utilizing

Software design patterns for repeating themes. The database

was designed using Erwin3.0 and implemented in Oracle 8.0.

The business components were modeled using UML. The

class/state diagrams etc were created using MS Visual

modeler. The GUI was provided to the business layer using

VB 6.0 for the client server app and using DHTML, XML, ASP,

RDS on MS IE 5.0 for the intranet. The intranet application

also utilized Databinding technology of IE 5.0 / DHTML

using ADO disconnected recordsets. Various reports were

provided for the application using Office 2000 Pivot Table/

Spreadsheet component and using server side Active

Reports component. The system provided a digital asset

repository using Silicon Graphics' Studio Central software

and the interface was written using Visual C++ . A scanner

interface to Visioneer Paperport Scanner was provided for

inputing digital images/ Contracts etc to the application.
