JDA's retail clients in North America.
Duties include:
Assessment of work required to remediate areas that are out of compliance

Fossil Watches & Apparel - Global chain with 350+ locations
11-Month contract leading a large team of 30 associates through the
blueprinting, configuration, testing, installation and support phases of a
customized SAP POS solution throughout its European stores. Delivered the
project on time, scope and budget (+$5M).
Portions of the project included sourcing vendors to provide point
solutions, weighing the best-fit, and implementing the solution.
Follett Higher Education Group - North American chain of 900+ college
bookstores
Multi-year contract developing/managing numerous medium and large scale
projects including PCI Compliance project, Gift Cards, Financial Aid
integration, Book Rental, Integrated credit/debit, Loyalty cards,
centralized customer management, and web store integration (ship-to-store,
return-at-store).
Forzani Group - Canada's largest sporting goods chain with over 400
locations
Several medium and large custom enhancements over an 18 month period
including PCI Compliance project. Part of the scope of this included Gap
Analysis and remediation. I served as Project Manager and was responsible
for the full analysis and for highlighting the pros/cons and associated
costs of each recommendation. Also included was a chain-wide rollout of pin
pad hardware.
Autopart International (subsidiary of Advance Auto) - 130+ store retailer of
automotive parts and accessories
One year process reengineering contract managing all activities related to
product returns. This involved working with in-house and vendor resources
to modify current systems and infrastructure to streamline customer product
returns. This included analyzing human processes and identifying
bottlenecks and providing suggestions to reduce total labor involved.
Scoop, Inc. - A high-fashion retailer in SOHO with 15 stores. This project
involved a complete RFI/RFP life-cycle for their Merchandising system which
included Inventory Management, Point of Sale, Customer Relationship
Management, and Workforce Management.
GSI Commerce - An e-commerce company specializing in creating, developing
and running online shopping sites for brick and mortar retail companies
Managed a team of three MMS-RPG programmers to "internationalize" their
website capabilities. This included handling European taxes and foreign
tender types. Duties included requirements gathering, resource allocation
and management, and reporting on project execution to senior executives.
Russell Stover's Candies - Manufacturer and retailer of candies, chocolate
and confections based in Kansas City, MO
Strategic modifications to their existing POS to Credit Authorization
interface
Dollar Tree - Discount merchandiser with over 3000+ locations
Design and develop a customer-facing, kiosk system which integrates to their
inventory management system
West Marine - Boating supplies specialty retailer with 400+ locations across
North America
Design and develop a very comprehensive Advanced Pricing module for MMS and
Win/DSS. Upon successful project completion, West Marine gave a
presentation at the JDA User Group Conference outlining the features and
benefits of the system.
PCI Compliance project
Complete rollout of new POS hardware and pin pads.
Shoe Pavilion - California-based show retailer with 120+ locations
New POS implementation (including hardware and network installation) with
customized modifications replacing DataVantage's Store 21. Involved
intensive Business Needs Analysis sessions with store personnel and
management to examine current POS functionality to determine which custom
modifications to bring forward, which features already existed in the new
system, and which features were not required.

600+ locations across North America

instruction at the JDA University, our internal training center. This
included directly training approx. 100 internal staff and client attendees.
