Program Manager for all phases of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Planning process for 2 trade floor front, middle and back office
environments. Performed initial Business Impact Assessment (BIA)
development. Provided expertise in design and maintenance of Business
Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
. Led IT project team updating DR plans for two trade floor front and
back office operating groups to accommodate relocation to consolidated
enterprise recovery facility. Included was a BIA review, modification
of all disaster recovery plans and update of application fail-over
test scripts.
. Tested departments' recovery plans to ensure that recovery point
objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO) were met.
. Conducted monthly recovery exercises to verify business continuity and
disaster recovery plan functionality for 25+ departments.
. Formulated semi-annual consolidated exercises testing all departmental
disaster recovery plans simultaneously in order to ensure that
identified inter-department objectives were met. Process was
implemented successfully and included provisions for test issue
