QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Over eight years experience as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)
Technician. Breadth of experience includes three six month tours in Iraq,
two years working the Eglin AFB range complex as an assigned Eglin EOD
technician, EOD flight explosive safety representative, responsible for EOD
flight annual and monthly training plan and implementation as well as all
assigned personnel's OJT and initial/annual job safety training. Familiar
with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Military
Munitions Rule Program as it pertains to the disposal of ordnance. I also
have in depth experience involving Weapons of Mass Destruction, Report
writing, Counter-Terrorism, Improvised Explosive Devices, Military
Ordnance, Limited Special Operations capabilities, Individual and Team
tactics, Advanced Marksmanship skills with pistols, rifles and designated
marksman weapons and Render Safe Procedures as they apply to the entire
realm of explosive hazards and Weapons of Mass Destruction that could be
encountered, Explosives including homemade, commercial and military
(foreign and domestic). I also have experience in Combat Lifesaving
Techniques/First Aid/CPR as well as Explosive Breaching and Close Quarters
Battle. I also have experience working directly for the United States
Secret Service in protecting multiple Presidents of the United States
(former and current) and other U.S Dignitaries at home and abroad.
Operationally I was instrumental as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team
member on over 450 military incidents involving Unexploded Ordnance,
Improvised Explosive Devices, special inter-agency programs and various
other mission sets including Weapons of Mass Destruction training, mass
public awareness briefings, etc.
I have a plethora of experience in the development and implementation of
Explosive Safety Lesson plans, Personnel Job Safety Training, Inter-agency
exercise planning, Implementing and tracking physical security measures and
Classified Technical Order Library building and managing.
Additionally, I have experience as the Government Purchasing Programs
Primary Approving Official for the 9th Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight
which consists of three purchasing officials and I have also been
responsible for the proper allocation and tracking of approximately
$250,000-$1.5M annually.
Military Related Experience Highlights
Aug 03-Aug 04 various range support missions, Eglin range complex, Eglin
AFB, FL
Tasked with supporting multiple mission types including
range clearance, range mission support and specific weapon
system testing including JDAM, Small Diameter Bomb, MOAB and
JASSM weapons systems. Also participated in
demilitarization of sensitive ordnance items and directly
supported the High Explosive Research and Development "HERD"
Center.
Aug 04-Nov 06 Responsible for UXO support on the island of Guam while
assigned to Andersen AFB, GU. Tasked with managing and
maintaining equipment and classified technical order
accounts. Participated in FBI/ATF post blast investigation
course as well as disposed of and helped mitigate multiple
explosive incidents involving items ranging from WWII era,
dud-fired ordnance to current U.S stockpiled munitions.
Nov 06-Sep 10 NCOIC Training and Technical Data Custodian, Beale AFB CA.
Completed scheduling, presentation, and documentation
management of classified and unclassified classroom and
practical training for 12 EOD technicians in various levels
of training status. Maintained flight publications library
consisting of over 30,000 classified and unclassified
documents. Performed as the flights primary training and
operations NCO. My responsibilities included training of the
flight on safety regulations and training tasks, EOD core
competencies and briefing outside military and non-military
agencies on various EOD related information.
May 06-Sep 06 Deployment to Iraq
Team member during four month long deployment. Conducted 40
post blast investigations, 110 IED incidents and 6 weapons
caches including more than 200 ordnance items. Awarded an
Army Commendation Medal, as well as an Air Force Combat
Action Medal.
Nov 07-May 08 Deployment to Iraq
Team member during six month long deployment. Conducted 12
post blast investigations and 4 IED incidents. Directly
participated in the finding of the last soldier on M.I.A
status in Iraq. Awarded an Army Commendation Medal.
Mar 09-Sep 09 Deployment to Iraq
Team member during six month long deployment. Conducted 4
post blast investigations as well as a one square kilometer
surface clearance on the Iraq-Iranian border for FOB
expansion. Was part of a five man team that trained thirty
five Iraqi Policeman on UXO/IED recognition, render safe and
disposal procedures. In five months trained an Iraqi force
capable of taking the entire workload of bomb disposal and
IED render safe procedures off of American Troops hands in
Basra, Iraq's third largest city.
CIVILIAN UXO EXPERIENCE
DEC 09-DEC 09 UXO ESCORT, MEC Industries, Inc. for Far Western
Anthropological Group
Provided UXO Escort support to archaeology team at Beale
AFB, CA. Operation consisted of 36 hours of field activity
escorting Archeological team on and around a former mortar
impact area to scout potential historically pertinent
Indigenous sites located throughout and within the defined
range boundary. UXO Escort cleared all paths taken by
Archeological team of three personnel with a Schonstedt.
JUL 10-JUL 10 UXO ESCORT, MEC Industries, Inc. for AECOM
Provided UXO Escort support to archaeology team at Beale
AFB, CA. Operation consisted of 8 hours of field activity
escorting Archeological team on and around a former grenade
impact area to scout potential historically pertinent
Indigenous sites located throughout and within the defined
range boundary. UXO Escort cleared all paths taken by
Archeological team of two personnel with a Schonstedt.

trenching route and then providing on scene support for
digging operations. UXO Escort cleared areas disturbed by
construction crew of six personnel with a Schonstedt.
