Assist in the process of preparing and conducting a research project which seeks to study the suicidal ideation
in adolescents living in Puerto Rico whose objective is to create an adequate course of treatment for
adolescents, not only in Puerto Rico but in all of Latin America.
Took part in bi-weekly meetings to discuss the current status of the project.
Conduct a thorough literature review.
Transcribe the interviews of the cases being evaluated, as well as design coding categories and criteria in order
to code the interviews.
Translate manuals and questionnaires from English to Spanish.

Design and conduct an individual research proposal. This project seeks to explore the relationship between
Birth order and Leadership using a non-experimental ex-post-facto design with three groups (oldest, middle
child, youngest). Administering the “Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ)” to 90 participants.
Analyze the data using a one-way ANOVA.
Perform a literature review.
Translate the questionnaire from English to Spanish.

regarding the elderly.
Conduct a focus group with seven university students from different areas of Puerto Rico using semi-
structured questions in order to examine their views on the subject.
Transcribe the audio obtained during the focus group.
Code and analyze the focus group’s discussions.

Served as a volunteer at the Fifty-Seventh Annual Convention of the Psychological Association of Puerto Rico. The
convention was entitled: Current Challenges: Sharing, collaboration, and commitments to action. Some of my tasks
included: working at the registering area, functioning as moderator during various panels of discussion and
providing assistance and guidance to the different professionals in attendance.

AIESEC
Had the opportunity to be part of a Developmental Internship in Istanbul, Turkey as a member of the largest student
organization. Spent six weeks working as an intern in two different camps with adolescents Turkish students helping
them improve their presentation, organizational and time management skills among other things. Worked with them
to develop and improve their English speaking abilities.
