With experience in supplier manufacturing process redesign, I analyze
and build information systems, implementing methods that positively impact
efficiency and productivity. Equally skilled in network and system
maintenance I ensure that critical data systems are in place to advance
company objectives while integrating technological advancements necessary
to maintain a competitive edge. Some career highlights include:
o Updated and integrated manufacturing systems to improve accuracy
and productivity
o Cross-trained functional workgroups to maximize employee output and
production capabilities
o Identified cost-saving machine retro-fit opportunities
o Managed network infrastructure and systems support programs
o Designed tooling processes for complex manufacturing processes
Colleagues describe me as an innovative problem solver with the ability
to turn ideas into tangible actions. I hold an MBA with an emphasis in
Technology Management, and a BS in Information Systems, both from the
University of Phoenix.
Technical Skills: CAD/CAM, Microsoft Networking, Windows XP, Microsoft
Server 2003.
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Upgraded technology to improve productivity. Costly and outdated systems
created bottleneck in production, diminishing shop productivity at RCO.
Identified and installed newer CAD software capable of translating customer
data faster and more accurately. Increased productivity over 100% due to
fewer instances of data repair and reconstruction, while lowering software
license fees $25K.
Designed new production methods to secure new business Mold-A-Matic lost
competitive edge due to inaccurate hand-tooled designs and overly
complicated CAD systems that negatively impacted customer deliverables
Replaced CAD systems with less expensive and more user friendly system,
allowing for cross-training of draftsmen. Improved production and accuracy
resulting in $500K increase in new business.
Improved productivity and production accuracy. Michigan Model and Mold was
losing business due to slower and lower-quality manufacturing methods.
Introduced CAD/CAM, training workforce in basic usage and production
integration. Leveraged new system with knowledge of existing employees to
allow for 24-hour production. Improved productivity 80% and manufacturing
accuracy 95%.
Identified cost-saving alternatives. RCO failed to meet deadlines due to
extensive data transfer from design department to production machines,
requiring costly equipment upgrade. Identified alternate solution of
retrofitting new controllers that allowed for networking within existing
machine systems. Saved $76K per machine in upgrade costs while
standardizing setup and operations.
CAREER HISTORY
