Responsible for the planning and execution of all operational,
administrative, and technical functions of the Process Support Division
including five full scale production branches staffed by approximately 300
tradesmen operating around the clock in six facilities.
o Supervise processes including sandblasting, surface preparation,
conventional/chemical cleaning, metal treatment, coatings application,
stenciling and silk screening, as well as radiator and fuel tank
repair.
o Oversee DA Civilians, DoD contractor organizations, military personnel
and direct staff and subordinate cadre of up to 13 production
supervisors.
o Plan and prioritize operations and resources in support of every value
stream on depot.
o Produce hundreds of major end items and thousands of components and
subassemblies monthly.
o Support mission in the remanufacturing, modification, repair, and
fabrication of assets in support of tactical vehicles and equipment,
weapons systems, soldier systems, and material handling equipment.
o Mandate compliance with federal, state and local regulation and
policy.
o Perform forecasting and general capacity planning. Assign and explain
work requirements.

support functions. Utilize Lean tools focused on speed and efficiency and
Six Sigma tools to reduce variation and improve precision and accuracy such
as A-3, brainstorming, flow diagrams, visual management, value stream
mapping, kan ban, poka-yoke, 2P, 3P and 6S.

Supervise production branch responsible for sandblasting, metal treatment,
sanding and surface preparation, masking and demasking, coating, marking
and stenciling, and detailing processes. Prioritize and manage the workflow
to meet production schedules. Issue specific work assignments to the
workforce and offer expert guidance in accordance with applicable scopes of
work, standard operating procedures, technical bulletins and manuals.
Create and maintain production and personnel records and databases. Ensure

Key Accomplishments:
V Served on first ever supervisory rotation into the Lean Six Sigma
office serving as facilitator for a year.
V Reduced major end item work in process by nearly 75%.
V Created masking kit concept that reduced variation and four hours of
labor per unit.

HMMWV line from 27 hours to 12 per unit.

Ensured safe and proper work methods were performed and kept the team
