Maintenance IC Fabrication

. Assigned to this position because of my ability to solve problems and

bring Maintenance, Facilities operations under control.

. Consistently and effectively improved the uptime on very sophisticated

IC Fabrication equipment.

. Consistently lead the maintenance team to low levels of equipment

downtime.

Production Maintenance

. Enabled production to meet requirements for quality, cost and

delivery.

. Lead the organization to establish critical spare parts lists and area

critical spare parts cabinets for Key Manufacturing Equipment, to

minimize turn around time on down equipment.

Construction Project Maintenance Manager

Managed the $34.0 Million dollar Circuit Board Construction Project in the

Plant 1 operations.

. Project timetable shorten from 24 months to 16 months.

. Redesigned with OEMs some of the equipment coming in for installation.

. Also, given a $12.0 Million dollar Power Train

Construction/Rearrangement Project to complete in the same time frame,

without manufacturing interruption.

. Both projects completed at budget and on time.

EARLIER BACKGROUUND

Prior to 1991, served in Facilities for Plants 6, 7 and 9 with

responsibilities for all central utility systems, plus all grounds

maintenance, indirect material cribs and hazardous waste disposal.

Worked two years in Plant Engineering, doing cost tracking, budget

forecasting and budget development for the Kokomo - Plant Engineering

Maintenance organization. Forecasting included monthly through five-year

plans.

Production Maintenance Manager for the Plant 8, 10, Waste Water Treatment

and Manufacturing operations. Established Skilled Trades Technical

Training, established segmented departmental budgeting, spare parts

reclaiming operations, spare parts inventory systems and started/staffed

the Maintenance operations for the Fab 3 Manufacturing building.

Worked as a Skilled Trades Construction Supervisor rearranging and

installing manufacturing equipment in both old and new facilities.

Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor for Manufacturing Assembly, Die

Casting, Presses and Plastic Molding.

As an Electrician, was assigned Die Cast, Plastic Molding, Speaker

Manufacturing and Radio Assembly troubleshooting activities. Experienced in

the construction and calibration elements of the electrical field.
