chemicals that can suppress the f lammability of organic solvents).

• Prepared li thium ion coin cells, DSC samples and ran DSC

experiments.

• Prepared sections for microscopy including making glass

k nives, manually t r imming resin blocks under a dissecting

m icroscope, and setting up the microtome to automatically cut

sections from blocks for analysis under the university’s new

scanning electron microscope.
