Perdue Farms Inc., Beaver Dam, KY: August 1, 2007 to Present. Complex HR Manager of Poultry
Processing Facility with approximately 1500 associates. I currently coordinate the HR function within the
complex, develop HR staff, and provide necessary support to facility via staffing, training, and leadership to
achieve required results. I have overall responsibility for a staff of 8, and responsibility for HR, Safety,
Security, Canteen, and dotted line for Medical. I have hands on experience with DOL, EEOC, AAP, OFCCP,

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Kingman, AZ): May 2006 to July 31, 2007. Human Resources,
Safety, Environmental, and Training Manager. I handled all the Human Resource functions (hiring,
employment advertising, background checks, drug testing, new hire orientation, payroll, departmental budgeting
benefits, retirement and etc.), handled all the Safety Department functions, (written safety program, safety
audits, accident prevention, accident investigation, compliance training and recordkeeping), handled all
environmental issues (air permit, hazards waste manifesting, environmental awareness training, audits, tracking
and reporting of waste streams, budgeting and have received ISO 14001 certification etc), handle all worker’s
compensations claims, investigations and reports, handled all compliance issues under Sarbanes Oxley, and I
am a certified master trainer handling all the compliance training for the facility. I was required to prepare a
yearly training plan, budget, guidelines, and prepare all presentation programs.
Townsend Consulting Services: February 2003 to May 2006. Human Resources Consultant worked on project
for retail distributions center in Florida. Started project in October 2004 and now have DC up and staffed. I
setup HR operations for a 907,000 square feet state-of-the-art, $50 million dollar distribution center
approximately 750 hourly associates and 50 salary associates. Primary responsibilities included: Recruitment
of management, professional, trades and administrative support staff for a startup facility. Ensure that the work
area is appropriately staffed for assigned shifts and that production, quality and safety standards were
maintained. Provide orientation, coaching and training to assigned personnel on department processes and
systems. Establish and enforcement of all corporate policies and procedures. Additional project was a
temporary assignment to a poultry facility in LA. I worked as a temporary Complex Human Resources
Manager responsible for staff members, 5 locations between 800 and 1000 employees on 3 shifts. Duties
included overseeing the daily operation of the Human Resources Department, also supervising the Safety,
Nursing and Security Departments along with a leased Cafeteria and Staff. Other duties included conversion

projects from People Soft to SAP Software, labor relations including contract negotiations, employee review
process, confidential Pride Line and managed a major management compensation project. My primary job
duties were to be a partner (employee or associate) advocate while upholding the Company policies and
procedures. Facilitator for partners and management Round Table Meetings, guided supervisor through partner
reviews and conducted management training.
Warren Equipment Company-Warren Cat: Midland, TX –September 1, 2000 – January 31, 2003. Human
Resources Manager/Training & Development Manager. Accountable for all HR shared services to a
manufacturing, sales and service client group of 1500 salaried and non-union hourly employees including
recruiting, orientation, performance reviews, EEO, AAP, counseling and problem solving, policy development
and implementation, benefits and salary administrations, and supervision of HR staff. Accomplishment
included: Establishing an Employee Recruitment and Referral Bonus Program, Job Telephone Hotline, Web
Site job postings, Written Job Descriptions, Benefits recruitment brochure, Wage & Salary Survey and CARES
(Career Advancement Recruitment Evaluation and Salary) Survey Program. Developed marketing strategy to
sell training to WEC’s customers and other CAT (Caterpillar) dealers. Assess opportunities in technical areas as
well as subject such as communication skills, supervisory skills and customer services. Created curriculum and
delivered programs targeted to WEC employees based on changing business needs, department needs, employee
needs, and strategic direction. Developed organizational flow charts and a monthly standard report for
supervisory for performance evaluations. Project manager for acquisitions that added 450 employees in
Oklahoma and Texas to the Warren Cat organization. Facilitator of monthly Warren Cat Executive Management
team meetings, and conducted quarterly meetings with Corporate Executive Management Team. Traveled to
approximately 22 locations once a quarter with Dealer Principal (CEO) to conduct round table sessions with
associates.
Townsend Consulting Services: September 1997 to Aug. 2000. Human Resources Consultant provided HR
support on a daily basis for manufacturing facilities, call centers that housed 400 employees, including handling
security, operational supplies, call center computer system, building maintenance, account receivable and
accounts payable. Managed the payroll system including bonuses for top management and telemarketing
employees. Established formalized HR department for a transportation company, and a pipeline maintenance
company including all aspects of HR working within the guidelines of state and federal regulations. Established
formalized safety training and record keeping on all employees, while maintaining regulatory compliance with
OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other state and federal regulatory agencies, received a 100% on audit of written
programs. As a NCCER Certified Master Trainer, I conducted Operator Qualification training. Duties also
included resolving company’s conflict dealing with overtime hours with the DOL (Department of Labor).
Reynolds Metals Company, Arkadelphia, AR May 1993 – September 1997 Safety, Health & Hygiene
Coordinator this was a startup hazardous waste facility. Primary job duties were to establish a Safety, Health &
Hygiene program for a startup facility operating as a Treatment, Storage and Disposal site. As an OSHA
authorized instructor in 29 CFR 1910, and 29 CFR 1926 standards, conducted 120-hour employee safety
training program of all employees prior to the employee being released into the work location. Helped establish
TQM teams, and help in grievance hearings up to forth step, participated in contract negotiations, arbitration
and grievance procedures dealing with United Steelworkers of American. Established control systems for
warehouse inventory for parts department and computerized daily inventory. Most importantly implemented a
proactive system to accident prevention and loss control.
Eagle Trucking Company, Kilgore, TX 1978 – 1993 VP of Personnel, Safety & Leasing. Directly supervised
office staff of 34, indirectly supervised 1300 company truck drivers and 125 lease drivers. Establish and lead
fully integrated HR strategy that aligned with business goals. Recommended solutions and best business
