For 10 years led all support, training and QA activities for Rochade

Metadata Repository and related components for all OS (Linux, Unix,

Windows, MVS, OS.390)

into diverse product lines.

Installed, designed, implemented and maintained the metadata environment

for Capital One Financial Services. Integrated disparate metadata sources,

primarily Ab Initio, Oracle, Teradata and DB2, also including ERWin/Model

Mart and in-house developed PeopleSoft applications.

. Sole Metadata Engineer for the Data Stewardship team and over 700 end

Configuration.

Having brought Rochade to Production, was singularly responsible for

managing Metadata Projects, including the gathering of metadata artifacts

from tool and source matter experts, loading the data, linking the models,

and then performing metadata analysis as follows:

. Eagles View - High level view demonstrating complexity and problem

areas.

. String Searching - For e.g., show all objects that contain

"project*code" in name or contents

. Impact Analysis - Demonstrate the impact of change across the entire

environment

. Gap Analysis - Highlight missing models, designs and objects

. Overlap Analysis - Identify redundant efforts.
