* Supervised 40 people, three shifts.
* Directed and Planed the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities of
the Anodizing Department
* Controlled of the chemical and equipment inventories.
* Established the yearly budget for the department.
* Designed reports to control production, chemical products consumption,
and scrap.
* Established and maintain a close work relationship with other plant's
department; especially with profile production and maintenance.
Established the weekly quality control team meeting to improve our
productivity and decrease scrap. The idea was that every member of the
Anodizing Department was a member of the quality control team. The
meeting was every Monday at 6:00 am, so we could share the experiences
of the past week and set the objectives for the present week and also
brainstorming to find new way or improvements that may help to achieve
the objectives and supersede them in about a 10%.
Establish the training program to every level and position in the
plant. This initiative plus the weekly quality control team meeting
resulted in a 20 % scrap reduction and an increment of 25% in our
production in a period of 6 months.
Visited clients to evaluate claims or any other concern. Our policy was
"Always Client First".
