parts.

. Achieved cost reduction targets by negotiating commercial contracts and

managing supplier relationships.

. Involved in designing the Supply Chain for the new manufacturing plant

at Pune.

. In conjunction with the team, pioneered and developed a Dynamic Supply

Chain Simulator to calculate the real time inventory of the plant and to

optimize the inventory carrying space of the plant. This helped in

significantly reducing the inventory of the plant from 4-5 days to 1-2

days.

manufacturing plant.

. Modified the packaging standards of the vehicle assembly parts to be

procured from the supplier.

. Initiated the project for the improvements of the existing CKD (Complete

Knock Down) operations facility used for exporting vehicles. This helped

to increase the dispatch capacity of the facilities to 276 kits per month

from 168 kits per month.

. Part of the cross functional team to modify the system to minimize the

errors in Bills of Material.
