PROJECT EXPERIENCE
John Deere Shift Quality Indicator (prototype completed June
2011)
Multi-disciplinary capstone project sponsored by John Deere
over 2 quarters.
Researched, designed, and built a prototype for measuring shift
quality on current tractors.
Prototype communicated with tractor via CAN bus network,
interfaced with a laptop, displaying the user information on-
screen in a GUI and logged data to laptop
Responsible for handling CAN bus integration protocols, writing
technical reports, and presenting findings along with the group
to our academic advisor and industry sponsor throughout the
process.

Visual Merchandising Specialist/Stock Supervisor (September 2006
to present)
Involved with team development, goal setting, and task
management.
Supervised the shipment process, which included a team of 3-
10 individuals at a given time.
Drove productivity by meeting deadlines and improving
performance.
Supported visual aesthetics in the women’s department as the
women’s specialist.
Achieved an above target for Q1 as a store.
Eagle Lake Camp of the Navigators, Colorado Springs, CO
Camp Counselor (May 2006, 07, 09 to August 2006, 07, 09)
Worked as a camp counselor with kids ages 8-18 for a week at
a time for 3 summers.
The third summer was spent investing in the lives of high school
kids working as part of the camp crew staff for two 5 week
sessions.
