Visits:
Compressor station - ONGC - Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Dec 10
The objective of the visit was to understand the working of compressor
station. With help of 11 compressors, Gas was compressed from 3 kgf/cm2 to
42 kgf/cm2 in two stage process. Cooling was provided by inter stage cooler
as well as by outer cooler.
DCP- Midstream TX, USA
Mar-10
The purpose was to sense the main processes of gas processing such as gas
gathering, separation of H2S and CO2. The understanding of dehydration,
fractionation and distribution of natural gas were also provided by this
visit.
